Madden spent almost all of March away from London, firstly at Holkham Hall and then in Brighton.

The visits to Holkham and Brighton brought Madden into contact with some new acquaintances and some old friends. He maintained other relationships by letter, but only the people he recorded meeting in person are included in the graph.
