##### Friday 20^th. Thaw all day, & frost disappeared

At Mus^m. Copied Tib. A. VIII. At seven oC. in the evening

went down in the stage to Kensington, & met my brother

at Mrs Bunce’s, to go to a dance at a Miss Smith’s

in Edward’s Square or Terrace. There were about

60 or 70 people, & we had a very pleasant dance. I

met the Sturts, & danced with Roza^sa, who is cer=

tainly pretty, but not to my ######^taste.. There

was not a girl there &d^{could be} compared for a moment with

either of the Haytons. — Dear M! — Got home by 1/2

past three — very tired.
