Sunday 16th. Having obtained D.r Macbride‘s permission, at
6 oC. I started by the Coach to Wadley, where I spent the day. I
found them all well, & Miss Buckworth & Miss Gilman in
the House. It was a most lovely day & we walked about
the grounds, &c. They leave the place altogether on the
First of May, & go to Ringwood House in Hampshire, which
they have taken for a twelvemonth. At ½ past seven oC.
in the Ev’g I returned to Oxford.
