Wednesday 3d. Did not go to Chapel in the morn~g, but
waited till the afternon. Part of the day in the Bodln.
& finished the list of Contents of Laud. 108. The Principal ^(Dr. Macbride) called
on me at the Bodln. & desired me to call on him tomorrow
morn~g at 10 oC. to go to Exeter College, for the purpose of
read~g & decipher~g some of their old deeds, & muniments.
Received an invitatn. from D.r Bandinel to dine with
him tomorrow. Have done but little ofin an Ev’g lately,
having had men to drink tea with me twice.
