Thursday 7th. At Musm. from ½ past 9 till 4. Mr Petrie
again there, & with him most of the day collating ^the letters of Alcuin.
Rain again all day in heavy showers. To my surprise
on going to Rupert St. to dine, I found my brother there.
He returned this morn’g. Weyland has left Lockinge.
Sir Henry & Lady Martin are expected home by the 12th
October. His son & his wife still remain on the Continent.
